Brian Dolan
"Bean" to his friends, Brian Dolan is deeply involved in the local scene, hosting traditional and modern sessions in local pubs, it's his talent and enthusiasm that had a great deal to do with the formation of the Songwriter Showcase. Brian's fiery songwriting kicked off the evening in 2004 and the rest, as they say, is history.

How long playing: I've been playing the Guitar about 6 years. 11 years playing music (piano).
What Inspired you to write: Not sure. I like poetry.
Any artist that influenced or inspired you: Dave Matthews, counting crowes, Pearl Jam, Sting & Bob Marley.
Other: Brian is currently on the road, playing an awful lot of traditional music in the southern hemisphere.
